I am interested in critical disability theory, including: Able-ism, privilege, shame and the relationships between the so-called normal and the abnormal - the tamed and the untamed. I take quiet activism, non-productivism and agency under a non-judgmental, anti-capitalistic lens.
I work primarily with plants as catalyst for developing works in ceramics, textile, print making and analogue photography. My practice evolves around plants - the historical use of medicine plants, the concept of seeds and the form shaped by their utility. I link the slowness and maintenance of the plants as a way of thinking.
